The Company‘s activity is concentrated on the collection of plastic packages, recycling them into raw material, production of plastic items and trading the production both in the country and abroad. This is one of the most important and underlying activities of the Company. JSC „ Nagisa" was the first company in Utena, Lithuania to start collecting, buying and recycling the plastic packages.

As plastic substances are known to be hard to decompose, recycling them makes a positive effect for the environment.

JSC „Nagisa" has installed the new production line - extruder to produce polyester and polypropylene tape (PP and PET). (PET) strapping tape is made of high quality collateral polyester raw material (bottles, strapping tape for recycling, etc.), while (PP) strapping tape is made of the original high quality polypropylene raw waste material (bottles, sacks, etc. polypropylene).

All the above mentioned factors have a positive effect on the environment both in the city of Utena and also Lithuania , as all the collateral material is collected and bought from the whole country.

The Company buys plastic packages from physical and juridical individuals, who have got waste managing issued valid certificates and who are able to certify the plastic waste recycling programme and its activity.
